Cutting The Path.
Youth cutters paired with veteran participants. A season of clinics. A culminating performance at the Dave Scribner Memorial in Verndale — where intergenerational learning meets the show pen.
Where Youth Lead. Veterans Anchor.
Pairs of youth cutters and veteran participants come together for a season of clinics and a culminating performance. Youth lead in teaching the sport — cutting fundamentals, horsemanship, the language of cattle work.
Veterans bring leadership, resilience, and the ability to perform under pressure. Each team learns from the other, and the result is a community built on mutual teaching and shared experience.
Clinics, Cattle, Culmination.
Each team progresses through a structured season at the ranch — building horsemanship, working through the fundamentals of cutting, and learning to perform together as a pair.
The season culminates in a final performance at the Dave Scribner Memorial in Verndale, where every team is tested in the show pen.
